Generic designs for a generic game

I was asked to do some generic monster (fire and water) concept designs for an online game I'm not allowed to name.

Old layouts

I did this a couple of months ago. I wanted to colour them too, in addition to toning them... but lost motivation. I'll do some new layouts soon, and colour those instead.

Life drawing in June

Some life drawing from last month, tried drawing on the HUGEEEE newsprint... it was time consuming

I went to the Zoo and at the R.O.M. last month... yes I took a newsprint pad to the zoo...

Just need to find a happy middle ground

One of them I drew first, and worked out the posing and everything. The other I just painted a lime green background and just worked with that... I think i like the impulse one better... a lot better
